Q: My password does not work.
A: Check the caps lock on your keyboard. The username and password are case sensitive. You may also want to check the expiration date of your subscription. If your subscription has expired, you will only be able to access free articles on the website. To find the expiration date of your subscription, look on the mailing label of your print magazine (as seen in red below). (Note: Once signed in, you can find out when your subscription expires by clicking My Account in the upper-right-hand side of any page on the site. There, you may also renew your subscription.)
Q: How can I change my password?
A: Login to WORLDmag.com and then click on My Account in the upper-right-hand side of your screen. Click the link that says Change Your Password. Enter a new password and then reenter it to confirm it is correct. When your account changes are complete, click on Change password. Your new password is now in effect. Q: How can I change my display name for commenting on the website?
A: After initial set-up, you can only change your display name (name that appears next to your comments) once. To change your display name, you must first sign in. After you are logged in, click My Account in the upper-right-hand side of any page. Here, enter a new display name and click Save Changes. For additional assistance, please contact technical support.
Q: How can I change my avatar photo for commenting on the website?
A: After you are logged in, click My Account in the upper-right-hand side of any page. Here, browse for the desired photo on your computer and click Save Changes. Our site will only accept G- or PG-rated photos, so be sure yours isn't too racy. WORLD reserves the right to delete any user account using a photo that it deems inappropriate. Copyrighted images should not be used as avatars.
Q: I have an account, but when I try to login or create an account it says, Account Info Not Found.
A: Make sure that you are entering the account number correctly. Do not enter the zeroes before the number. Make sure you are entering the ZIP code correctly. Q: What do I do if someone else is using my name to post comments on the site?
A: Contact the Web Editor at firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance. We will do all we can to correct the situation and punish the guilty party, but we cannot be held liable for their actions, nor can we be held responsible for the comments being cached on online search engines such as Google and Yahoo!
