Immigration reform: While on their annual retreat in Maryland, the Republican leadership floated a plan that would grant limited amnesty to unauthorized immigrants. The GOP plan would grant limited legal status to millions now in the country illegally.

IRS scandal: Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz grills Attorney General Eric Holder over the IRS investigation. Despite reports that no indictments would be brought in connection with the scandal, Holder claims the door is still open for possible criminal charges.

Political bullying: New Jersey Mayor Dawn Zimmer has accused New Jersey Governor of threatening to withhold superstorm Sandy federal relief funds unless she approved a development project. But new holes are appearing in Mayor Zimmer’s story. 

Super Bowl Sunday: The Seattle Seahawks will bring their number one defense to MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Sunday to face Payton Manning and the Denver Broncos’ record-setting offense. Oddsmakers have the Seahawks winning by 3 points.
