Unions and politicians: The Supreme Court is considering a case dealing with the union practice of taking government workers’ dues and using them to support politicians who in turn pass laws that favor unions. 

Abortion and healthcare: While thousands of pro-life Americans marched in Washington to mark the 41st anniversary of the decision that legalized abortion, President Obama issued a statement supporting what he called a woman’s right to privacy and reproductive freedom.

Saeed Abedini: Naghmeh Abedini says her husband has been moved to a slightly safer part of Iran’s Rajai Shahr prison. He was sleeping among murderers, rapists and other dangerous thugs but this week he was moved in with other political prisoners.

al Qaida: Israeli internal security has arrested three Palestinians thought to be aligned with al Qaida and who were allegedly planning an attack on targets in Israel including the US embassy in Tel Aviv.

Business/economy: WORLD News Group’s Warren Cole Smith reports that U.S. stocks were mostly higher on Wednesday but the news wasn’t all good.
