Notable Speech: Author Eric Metaxas on his own spiritual journey, the men who inspired him, and a challenge to the American church


Eric Metaxas is a speaker on the radio program BreakPoint, and he is the author of two well known biographies: Amazing Grace: William Wilberforce and the Heroic Campaign to End Slavery (HarperOne, 2007) and Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy (Thomas Nelson, 2011).

He delivered this speech March 3 at the annual convention of the National Religious Broadcasters in Nashville, Tenn.
