Ben Carson is director of pediatric neurosurgery at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Md., and the author of America the Beautiful: Rediscovering what Made this Nation Great. He spoke about some of the themes in his book at this year's National Prayer Breakfast in Washington D.C.
