Nigeria church bombing
International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church

Last Sunday, a suicide bomber rammed an SUV loaded with explosives into a Sunday morning church service in Nigeria, killing at least eight people. WORLD News Group reporter J.C. Derrick covers recent attacks on Nigerian churches, and the formation of the Christian Association of Nigerian-Americans, in his article "Demanding attention."

Godfrey Yogarajah is executive director of World Evangelical Alliance's Religious Liberty Commission. Churches around the world observe either November 4 or November 11 as The International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church (IDOP).
