Tyndale House wins preliminary victory against Obamacare mandate
Other Obamacare lawsuits
Several for-profit companies have filed lawsuits challenging the federal mandate that forces employers to provide abortion-causing drugs in their health insurance coverage.
So far, Tyndale House and a small Missouri-based business, O'Brien Industrial Holdings LLC, have been granted preliminary injunctions. The arts-and-crafts retail chain Hobby Lobby has been denied court relief.
The Supreme Court has now granted Christian college Liberty University its day in court on an Obamacare challenge after previously denying a hearing.
