In this segment, Professor Robert P. George refutes the often-expressed idea that the state has no interest in the preserving marriage as an exclusive, long-term heterosexual union.

Dr. George heads the James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions at Princeton University, where he also serves as the McCormick Professor of Jurisprudence. Robert George is also the current chairman of the U-S Commission on International Religious Freedom.
