The 150th anniversary of Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address

President Abraham Lincoln delivered his now-famed speech on Nov. 19, 1863, as part of a ceremony dedicating  the Soldiers’ National Cemetery (now the Gettysburg National Cemetery) in Gettysburg, Pa.

Documentarian Ken Burns has launched a national effort called “Learn the Address” to encourage people to video record themselves reading or reciting the famous speech. You can view many of those videos, recorded by politicians, actors, students and others.
