Senator Ted Cruz questions Attorney General Eric Holder in a hearing on Capitol Hill regarding drone strikes on U.S. citizens. The House agrees to a stopgap funding bill that includes the cuts mandated by the sequester, but gives the military flexibility on how to deal with it. President Obama wants to talk budget face to face with Republicans. Syrian rebels have taken about 20 UN peacekeeping troops hostage. A bill in the US House would protect religious conscience rights of those who work in secular organizations. Another positive day on Wall Street, with stocks edging up, meaning a new record high.
