A conversation with Bart Compolo
Bart Campolo is the son of the famous evangelical leader Tony Campolo. For many years Bart followed in Tony’s footsteps, writing books for evangelical publishers and speaking in evangelical churches. But Bart Campolo began to have doubts about Christian beliefs, and those doubts turned into open disbelief. About five years ago, he left Christianity altogether, and a year ago he turned up as the first humanist chaplain at the University of Southern California, in Los Angeles.
