WORLD News Group, publisher of WORLD magazine and producer of WORLD Radio’s The World and Everything in It, has a new audio program called Listening In.
Listening In, hosted by Warren Cole Smith, is a conversational program featuring newsmakers and thought leaders that explores the depths of some of the most interesting topics of our day.
“Our goal is to explore topics as thoughtfully as possible,” said WORLD Radio Executive Producer Nick Eicher. “It’s more like NPR’s Fresh Air or public television’s Charlie Rose, but with an objective Christian perspective.”
Listening In airs each Friday. The program is available to radio stations via FTP download. For technical details, contact: Jonathan Bailie at email@example.com.
A conversation with Concerned Women for America president Penny Nance
This year marks the 35th anniversary of Concerned Women for America, which calls itself the largest grassroots women’s organization in the country, with more than 500,000 members. Warren Cole Smith talks with the president of Concerned Women for America, Penny Nance. Before taking over as president of Concerned Women for America four years ago, she had a varied career in Washington that included time on Capitol Hill as a staffer for Georgia Congressman Pat Swindall, and five years as CWA’s legislative director. She has also consulted with such organizations as Prison Fellow Ministries, where she worked closely with evangelical icon Chuck Colson, and the Center for Reclaiming America, founded by another evangelical leader, D. James Kennedy.
