Listening In

Hosted by WORLD News Group's Warren Cole Smith, Listening In features extended conversations with newsmakers and thought leaders.

“Our goal is to explore topics as thoughtfully as possible,” says WORLD Radio Executive Producer Nick Eicher. “It’s more like NPR’s Fresh Air or public television’s Charlie Rose, but with an objective Christian perspective.”

A conversation with Johnnie Moore

Though barely in his thirties, Johnnie Moore has already had a robust career as a vice president at Liberty University, where students confronted him every day with the question: “What do I do when I grow up?” Helping thousands of students over the years led to his new book “What Am I Supposed To Do With My Life?”  Little did Johnnie Moore know that as he was writing the book he would have to deal with the question himself.  The successful television producer Mark Barnett had been working with Liberty University.  Moore and Burnet became friends and started working together on a number of projects.  That relationship ultimately led Burnet to ask Johnnie Moore to be his chief of staff.  So after 13 years at Liberty University in Virginia, Moore last year packed up his family and moved to California to embark on a new career path.
