  1. What if I want to get WORLD Magazine in print and not become a member? Is that possible?
    Yes. When we send you a renewal notice at the end of your current term, you can simply tell us then and we will remove you as a member and continue to send you your magazine for our current list price. We’re finding that most people so far want to become members because it’s cheaper and easier.
  2. Can I still pay for my membership by check?
    Yes. Call us at 800-951-6397, Monday-Friday (except holidays), 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. ET, and we’ll take care of it for you.Can I still give gift subscriptions as a member?Absolutely. In fact, it’s easier and less expensive to do so. Simply go to the WORLD Member Portal on the website and you’ll see how easy it is. Not only that, you can keep track of your gifts on the Member Portal, too. Don’t care to do it online? No problem. Call us at 800-951-6397, Monday-Friday (except holidays), 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. ET. It’s just as easy as it’s always been.
  3. Can I share WORLD content with others—even the exclusive content available only through the WORLD Member Portal?
    Yes. In fact, we want you to. If you find an article, a podcast, a political cartoon, or a link to a video, you can easily post that link to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, or other social media site. You can text it, email it, or post links on blogs if you’d like. Non-members who click on your shared link will be granted temporary access to our site.
  4. How does the automatic renewal work?
    When you sign up as a member, we will securely store your credit card information so that, whenever there is a new billing cycle, we will use it to maintain your membership. We will do this for you until you tell us you want it to stop. If you have signed up for annual renewal, we will send you a reminder of the upcoming payment a few weeks in advance to let you know that your credit card will be charged. That way you’ll never be surprised.
  5. Can I prepay for multiple years instead of just one?
    Sure. The best way to handle that transaction is to call us at 800-951-6397, Monday-Friday (except holidays), 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. ET. They will be able to take care of that for you.
  6. What it I want to cancel my membership?
    Not a problem. We will stop billing you immediately. You can tell us you want your membership to cease in one of three ways: (1) on the website by stopping your automatic renewals through your membership account, (2) by sending us a letter, or (3) by calling us at 800-951-6397, Monday-Friday (except holidays), 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. ET. 
  7. If I do cancel my membership, will I be refunded any money?
    If you have paid for an annual membership or longer, any unused months beyond the current one will be prorated to you for reimbursement. If you are on a monthly renewable membership, we will continue your membership to the end of the current month and cease all future charges to your credit card.
  8. How secure is my credit card information if I set up an automatic renewal?
    Very secure. We use the same level of personal security protocols as major banks and the most trusted online resellers. So, any information you provide to activate your membership will be quite secure.
  9. Why did you change your website name to “wng.org”?
    Good question. Mainly for these three reasons: (1) WORLD News Group is more than a magazine publisher. It’s a news organization that publishes magazines, websites, radio programs, daily podcasts, mobile/tablet apps, and more. The domain “worldmag.com” has served us well. We’ve simply outgrown it. (2) WORLD News Group is a non-profit organization, not a for-profit news company. We thought the “.org” part of “wng.org” better communicated our corporate purpose of being a non-profit, independent news source. (3) “wng.org” is short. We like that. And we think you will too. (In case you hadn’t noticed, the “wng” stands for WORLD News Group. Forgive us if we’re stating the obvious!).
  10. Can I still access “wng.org” by using “worldmag.com”?
    Yes. If you’re in the habit of typing in “worldmag.com,” don’t worry. Keep doing it if you prefer. We’re going to keep this domain name around for a while. It will get you to “wng.org” just fine.

Concerning Children’s Publications...

  1. Can I become a WORLD digital member and still get great deals on the WORLD children’s publications: God's Big WORLD, WORLD Teen, WORLD Kids?
    Yes. Many families are seeing the benefit of getting both WORLD Magazine and a children’s magazine (like God’s Big WORLD) added to their membership. That being said, you can also get a digital only membership and tack on as many children’s publications you so desire.
