Odd queries

What would you do if you just inherited a pizzeria from an uncle? That's the question that German automaker Volkswagen would like to ask you before hiring you to work for them. According to career advice website Glassdoor.com, companies are increasingly asking job candidates bizarre questions in an attempt to pare down an ever more competitive group of potential employees. Some of the odder interview questions included:

"What is the philosophy of martial arts?"-Aflac

"If you had 5,623 participants in a tournament, how many games would need to be played to determine the winner?"-Amazon

"How do you weigh an elephant without using a weigh machine?"-IBM

"How many basketballs can you fit in this room?"-Google

"If you were shrunk to the size of a pencil and put in a blender, how would you get out?"-Goldman Sachs
