In 1750 local craftsmen built Turaida Church for the Turaida Evangelical Lutheran parish in Sigulda, Latvia. Preserved on its original site, the building is one of the oldest wooden churches in the Baltic nation. Today, a Lutheran congregation uses the building twice a month for its worship services.
