Oppressed

"Oppressed" Continued...

Christians have suffered persecution since Christianity began, and this year was no different.

Though the U.S. State Department hadn't designated its annual list of Countries of Particular Concern for religious freedom violations by the beginning of December, the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom has already named 13 countries. The report cited persecution and egregious violations of religious freedom of adherents to several religions. The group found
substantial persecution of Christians in all 13 nations:
• Burma
• China
• Eritrea
• Iran
• Iraq
• Nigeria
• North Korea
• Pakistan
• Saudi Arabia
• Sudan
• Turkmenistan
• Uzbekistan
• Vietnam
