Judson Church in Myanmar's capital, Yangon (or Rangoon) is a Baptist church named after Adoniram Judson, a 19th-century American missionary who translated the Bible into Burmese and compiled the first Burmese-English dictionary. Thanks to his work, Myanmar has one of the largest Baptist populations in the world, but this church, located on the University of Yangon campus, has suffered neglect and disrepair under the ruling military junta.
