"The words in print in an academic textbook carry with them a proper assumption of factual credibility and trust," said Mr. Aldrich, who pointed out the textbook inaccuracies in a February letter to Reisterstown ministers and parents: "The assertions that the Gods of Islam and Christianity are the same, and that Muhammad's message is the same as Jesus' message, represent to me an abuse of that trust."
