No heroes on 16th Street

"No heroes on 16th Street" Continued...

Issue: "Attack and dissent," May 19, 2001

I looked, but found no heroes on 16th Street in Birmingham that evening. Almost everyone agreed some justice had been done. But when there is so much justice still to do, both on 16th Street and around the world, it's easy for cynicism to rule the day. It did me good to remember that where cynicism abounds, God's grace abounds even more.
