No middle ground

"No middle ground" Continued...

Issue: "Ashcroft: Under fire," Jan. 13, 2001

Not so with abortion and homosexual rights. We're not talking here about tweaking the balance of things or doing a little fine tuning of human society. We're talking instead about reversing fundamental definitions of what human existence involves. If we're discovering that the middle is hard to find, the explanation may be that there simply isn't any such ground in the first place.
