Nor do I want to pretend that I have learned the lesson well myself. I too trust too much in political systems, and my life and behavior are not enough different from those of the world. If WORLD magazine ever implies through its news coverage that political structures are all-important, we will be misleading and betraying you. Chasing false gods is not a new problem for God's people.
